Recruitment Forums today! You can begin working on your applications
immediately! The Application is listed below:

Thanks for your
interest in the SBEmu testing team/Closed Beta Program. Please answer
the following questions to the best of your knowledge. Copy and paste
this form into a new thread in the Recruitment Submissions forum.



1:
Please describe your Shadowbane gameplay history. How long did you play
Shadowbane? What servers did you play on? Did you play fairly
continuously, or were there periods of inactivity? What changes(if any)
brought you out of periods of inactivity? Were you a part of the
original SB beta program?


2: What areas of Shadowbane are you
most experienced in? Is there some mechanic or aspect of the game that
you know inside out and backwards? This could be certain classes, or
even specific builds, races, or types of characters. This could be more
general experience in city building, city management and crafting, guild
management, bane offense/defense, lots of experience in specific zones
or areas, or any other aspect of Shadowbane that you have a great deal
of experience/memory for.


3: What areas of Shadowbane are you
least experienced in? What did you spend little/no time on, or have
very little experience or memory with?


4: A bug with the Dark
Knight stun has been reported. Supposedly the DK stun is able to stun
people while they still have a stun immunity effect active from a
previous stun. Please explain the procedure you would use to verify this
bug, show steps you would take in testing to confirm or disprove the
bug, and demonstrate how you would document your findings for the rest
of the team. Remember that testing will be a team effort, and everyone's
work must be understandable and repeatable by other
testers/designers/developers.


5: The development team has
passed the crafting system on to the test team for initial verification.
Given a forge or magic shop with a vendor placed, explain the steps you
would take to verify whether the crafting system is working correctly.
What things would you do to try and break the system and find any errors
in the vendor/rolling system?


6: Please provide your Age, Location, what languages you speak and amount of time able to dedicate to the project.



Testers
will be added to the team as needed, and as specialization under
specific areas warrant. Qualifying applicants will be kept in a pool of
potential testers and contacted as needed. If your strengths don't match
what we need today, they may be highly sought after later in
development, so stay tuned. If you have any questions feel free to PM

The Deadline for Closed Beta Applications is February 12th 11:59PM pst NO EXCEPTIONS

We're
serious about not accepting applications after February 12th at
11:59PM, so please don't PM us after asking to accept your application.
This is the reason why we're opening up applications back up. So if you
aren't aware by February 12th about Closed Beta, then you will have to
wait until Open Beta. We look forward to these next round of
applications, as more and more people are getting interested in the
project! We will have a much more diverse pool of testers to pick from
when we plan to add more in approximately 3 to 4 weeks (This is an
estimate atm, could be more, could be less). If you have already
applied, there is no need to do so again. That includes those whom
applied for the Test Team a while back as well. Those of you whom PM'd
Silk, Daymar and myself also have no need to apply on the Recruitment
forum, as we already have your applications and will be posting them
tonight on our private forum. In no way do the people whom PM'd us
applications have an advantage over those whom posted in the public
forum, or applied for the Test Team previously. We go through all
applications again. Please be patient as we are expecting about 500
applications, and have a team of about 10-15 people reading each
application. Needless to say it's a lot of reading. Thank you again for
