All our release estimates are just that - estimates. The login server alone revealed a dozen of bugs to us that needed fixing, and the devs jumped on those bugs with fierceness of raged dobermans, but it still takes time to resolve them.

I can tell you for sure, the January release won't happen. That would just be too early. Perhaps a teaser pre-beta, when you can walk around on noob island and kill some spiders or something.
